|Meet the Owners
Tammy & Steve reside in Arlington with their 2 young children and golden retriever, Hunter.
Here's an up close and personal look at Tammy & Steve and the humble beginnings of Fur-Get Me Not.
Born 2 days after September 11th, his name has a patriotic inspiration. "Christi's Hunt for Peace", shortened to Hunter as his call name.
Hunter grew up in a classroom setting. At ten weeks, he would accompany me to obedience class and wait patiently at my side while I taught group classes at PetsMart. He enjoyed taking Agility and Obedience classes at A Click Above in Leesburg, also where he earned his Canine Good Citizen certificate.
Hunter's favorite pastimes are playing Jolly Ball, aka soccer, and swimming at the lake. Today he attends daycare daily and follows our toddler around the house as he drops snacks, sometimes on purpose.
Robin from PawPrints Photography captured some great photos of the family when Hayden was 18 months and we were pregnant with our second. Hunter proudly demonstrates his love for soccer in her blog.
Hunter was also featured on the cover of NOVAdog Magazine in the Winter 2011 edition. The cover story was about interactive toys and was written by Fur-Get Me Not's Training Director. For all the unseen photos and a "tail" of his experience, check out Pawprints blog, told from Hunter's point of view.
